This station is a terminal station, so all trains stop here.
Unlike many stations in Tokyo that are underground, Tobu Asakusa Station is above ground.
Because of this, the platform feels brighter and more open, which matches the atmosphere of a sightseeing area like Asakusa.
Going to Tokyo Skytree? Use Platforms 1 or 2
If you are heading toward Tokyo Skytree, take a train from Platform 1 or Platform 2.
The signs are clear and easy to understand, even if this is your first time in Asakusa.
Trains depart about every 10 minutes, and since this is the starting station, you usually don’t have to rush.
My Personal Experience Using This Station
I often use this line when I leave Asakusa.
Honestly, I can almost always get a seat.
After walking around Asakusa for hours, being able to sit down on the train is a big relief.
