Shichi-Go-San Photos at Hanadaen|Top 3 Must-Take Shots in the Japanese Garden

Today I would like to introduce Hanadaen, located in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture.

Hanadaen is located in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture, and opened on October 1, 1991. Counting from the present (December 2025), it will have opened approximately 34 years ago.

Hanadaen is a space of healing and beauty where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience traditional Japanese aesthetics and the ever-changing beauty of nature.

It is also a famous photo spot, and you can often see people taking Shichi-Go-San and wedding photos here.

The other day, I had the opportunity to take Shichi-Go-San photos of a 3-year-old girl here.

The first time I met her was two years ago when she was still a baby, but now she has given birth to a little brother and has grown into a slightly older sister.

The first thing you should do when you come to Hanadaen is take a photo of this bamboo forest. Photos surrounded by the bamboo forest stretching out on both sides have a very sacred atmosphere.

Not only the parents, but also the grandparents from both sides gathered to celebrate the child’s third birthday.

The second photo spot is this bridge.

It’s very large and tasteful. The best thing about Hanadaen is that it’s not crowded.

Another great thing about this place is that you can take your time taking photos without feeling the stress of being in a crowd.

As of December 2025, it appears that the bridge will be undergoing repair work for some time.

It’s a shame that I won’t be able to take pictures for a while.

And my favorite place is this rest area.

I really like this stylish atmosphere.

As a photographer, it feels great when you finally get into the retouching style that you like!

If you were to take a photo, where would you like to take it?

If you visit Japan, be sure to check out Saitama Prefecture.

You can see beautiful scenery that is unique to Saitama and cannot be found in Tokyo.
